Description
Adafruit MCP2221A Breakout is a USB-to-I2C and UART bridge based on the Microchip MCP2221A that lets a computer talk directly to I2C sensors and displays, serial devices, and GPIO pins with no microcontroller in between.
- USB 2.0 (full-speed) to I2C and UART bridge in one board
- Enumerates as a USB HID device plus a USB CDC serial port, so no special drivers are needed
- 4 GPIO pins, 4 channels of 10-bit ADC input, and 1 channel of 5-bit DAC output
- STEMMA QT / Qwiic connector for solder-free I2C; works on Windows, macOS, Linux and Python
- 3V logic with on-board regulator, USB powered
