Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Embedded Computers. If something isn’t right, the policy below explains how we handle returns, exchanges and refunds.

30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return on most products. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging, with all included accessories.

What Qualifies for a Full Refund

  • Unopened products in their original, factory-sealed packaging.
  • Defective products reported within 30 days of delivery (we cover the return shipping label).
  • Products incorrectly shipped by us (wrong model, wrong quantity, etc.).

Opened & Used Items

Opened single-board computers, compute modules and accessories that are still in fully working, like-new condition may be returned within 30 days for a refund less a 15% restocking fee. Items showing physical damage, modification, soldering, ESD damage or missing components are not eligible for return.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom or pre-flashed builds prepared to customer specification.
  • Bulk / volume orders (10+ units of the same SKU) – please contact us before purchase to discuss terms.
  • Items damaged by misuse, incorrect voltage, improper handling, or ESD.
  • Free promotional items.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email returns@embeddedcomputers.ca with your order number and a brief description of the issue.
  2. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 1-2 business days.
  3. Securely package the item with the RMA number clearly written on the outside.
  4. Ship to the address provided in the RMA email. We recommend a tracked shipping method.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Defective or incorrectly shipped: we cover return shipping by providing a prepaid label.
  • Buyer’s remorse / unwanted item: the customer is responsible for return shipping.

Refunds

Refunds are processed within 5 business days of the returned item being inspected at our facility. The refund will be issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer it may take an additional 3-10 business days for the funds to appear on your statement.

Warranty

All products carry a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase, in addition to any manufacturer warranty offered directly by Raspberry Pi, Radxa or other vendors. Warranty claims after the 30-day return window are handled as repair or replacement at our discretion.
